All enquiries for Summer & Autumn 2010 are welcome. We are a small family run B&B, with a reputation for fine food and hospitality. We are located close for the ferry to Rousay and Castlehill is an ideal base for day trips to Hoy, Westray, Sanday and North isles. Kirkwall and Stromness are only a short drive away.

From 1st June till end September - our summer rate for the room is £70 per night (£35pp) and covers 2 people & full breakfast. All our rooms have en-suite facilities, oak furnishings and high quality Egyptian linen & Turkish cotton towels. MP3/Radio. Yes we have fast broadband/WiFi too.
Single occupancy will be £55.
Stays of 7 nights also attract a £30 reduction reflecting a weekly cost of only £460. We also provide high quality evening meals to meet different tastes and budgets.

Hot tub & Sauna room - latest developments

We are having a conservatory built to contain our new hot tub & sauna.
Work has commenced and the foundations are in place. We are now ready for the next stage; to install the drainage and create the base for the conservatory. The concrete base will be left to harden off During July. The initial works have not caused any annoyance to our guests. We expect to build the timber frame in September and hopefully add the roof structure in October before the Winter weather comes around.
The conservatory will overlook our spectacular view of the North islands, sea and the Roust and provide splendid additional facilities Castlehill.
The sauna can accommodate up to 4 people and the hot tub up to 6/7. When finished, the room will be approx 6.7 x 6.7 mtrs & give us enough space to grow some of our own fruit and salad vegetables in our new hydroponicum area.
The new facilities should be available for next spring/summer 2011.
